Jean C. Mosier Wallace, 68, a lifelong resident of Westport Island, passed away unexpectedly on the evening of June 22. Born in her family home on Dec. 24, 1946, she was the daughter of Harvey and Rena (Colby) Mosier.

John David Ellis, 85, of Rockland, and formerly of Round Pond, passed away peacefully and naturally from life on the night of May 15.

Gertrude Eugenia Heal Cunningham, 90, passed away peacefully on the afternoon of June 8 in Damariscotta.

Elizabeth “Jean” Hodgkins, 89, passed away May 22 at a Bangor hospital. She was born July 12, 1925, in Schenectady, N.Y., the daughter of Philip and Mabel O’Brien.

Elizabeth Joy Kennedy Massanek, 58, passed from this earth June 20 while at home in the presence of her loving husband Gary Massanek and sons Alexander and Geoffrey Massanek. Betsy succumbed to the rapid onset of cancer.

Shirley Bracey Dyer, 96, a longtime resident of Maine, passed away on June 1 in Las Vegas, Nev.

Alfred E. Lewis, 86, passed away on June 7 after a period of failing health.

Mary Alice Baker Wilson, 70, born in Jefferson March 19, 1945, left this world to be with Jesus on May 17 after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Rochelle P. Downs, 72, of Whitefield, passed away unexpectedly on May 21 at Maine Medical Center in Portland from complications related to a devastating stroke.

Frederic C. “Teddy” Farr Sr., 78, of Windsor, died May 26 at LincolnHealth – Miles Campus in Damariscotta after a brief illness.

A committal service for Deanna H. Mansir, who died Jan. 26, will be held at 2 p.m., Sat., May 16 at Pine Grove Cemetery in Dresden.

A graveside service for Arthur R. Barnett, of Somerville, who passed away on March 23, will be held at 1 p.m., Sat., May 16 at West Washington Cemetery in Washington.
