Joan Toombs Ludlow, 78, of Bristol, passed away peacefully at home on July 17 after a brief battle with cancer.

Walter H. Sherman, 93, lifelong resident of Wiscasset, died July 17 at his residence with his loving family by his side.

John Leslie Richards, 77, of Whitefield, passed away peacefully on July 19 at MaineGeneral Medical Center, Augusta Campus, with his son Karl, daughter, Dawn, daughter-in-law Judy, and grandchildren Shawn, Jennifer, Kasie, and Drew by his side and his son Lee by phone.

Harold Gray Walch, of Waldoboro, passed away after a brief period of declining health at his home on July 22.

Charles A. Barnes, 85, of Wiscasset, died July 17 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta.

David Brooks (Dixie) Howell, 75, of Pemaquid Point, died of natural causes on July 21.
