Jennie McLean, 97, of Damariscotta, passed away at the Miles Memorial Hospital on the evening of April 4.

Ellen Keegan, 64, a longtime resident of Wappingers Falls, N.Y. and a recent resident of Boothbay Harbor, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family after a long and valiant struggle with breast cancer.

Lottie Mary Richards, 86, of Damariscotta, died April 11 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta.

Sherri L. Gifford-Hopkins, 53, of Winslow, died March 26 after a brief illness at MaineGeneral Medical center in Augusta.

Gerard R. Pineau, 74, of Lewiston, died March 18 surrounded by family, at the Hospice House in Auburn, following a three-year battle with cancer.

Theodore Wesley Clark Sr., 80, of Rome, N.Y., went home to be with the Lord on March 9 after a brief illness at the Hospice Siegenthaler Center in New Hartford, N.Y.

Steven L. (“Reg”) Register, 54, of Yarmouth, died from brain cancer on March 1 at home surrounded by his family.

Edward C. Matthews, MD, 85, of Nobleboro, died March 17 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta of a recently diagnosed cancer.

Elizabeth Buchanan Pitt, of Jenkintown, Penn., died March 3 after a brief illness.

John Hay, 95, of Bremen, died Feb. 26.

Duane A. Winchenbach, 45, of Damariscotta, died March 19 at his residence.

Ruby Ella Lewis, 94, of Trevett, passed away March 9 at her residence after a brief illness.

Catherine W. “Kit” Ames, 59, of Fort Fairfield, wife of Dale M. Ames, died Feb. 24 in the presence of several members of her loving family at a Presque Isle healthcare facility, after a long illness.

Alta M. Faulkingham, 87, of Newcastle, passed away at the Cove’s Edge Nursing Home in Damariscotta on the morning of March 18.
