Arthur V. Reed, 78 of Wiscasset, died with his family by his side on July 21 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Lois Jane Seidel, 77, of Waldoboro, passed away July 12 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta.

Judith L. Whitney, 69, of Damariscotta, passed away at her home on July 6 with family by her side.

Robert L. Streng, 83, of Boothbay Harbor, passed away July 17 in Boothbay Harbor, his home for the past 39 years.

Peter Jordan, 67, a resident of Franklin, Tenn. and longtime summer resident of the Bayville Community, Boothbay Harbor, passed away July 12 at his summer residence after a period of failing health.

Elizabeth “Betsy” Mattingly, 80, of Washington, passed away on the afternoon of July 6 at Cove’s Edge Nursing Facility in Damariscotta.

Roger H. House, 76, MSGT, USAF Retired, of Melbourne, Fla. and formerly of South Bristol, passed away on July 20 at the Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Fla.

Cordelia Dodson Hood, 98, of Damariscotta, passed away peacefully at home on July 14.

Charlotte Bedell Hong, “Sophie,” 75, of Edgecomb, died at the Barron Center in Portland on June 28.

Doris Emogene Munro Rogers, 80, of Owls Head, died July 18 at Pen Bay Medical Center, Rockport.

David Gardner Hinners passed away July 6. He was born in March 25, 1924 in Neuilly, France to Howard Hinners and Anne Gardner Hinners and raised in the Boston area.

James Wilder Anderson, 78, of Damariscotta and Cushing, went to be with the Lord on June 23 from Central Maine Medical Center.

Carmella Ann Chadwick, 76, of Wiscasset, died unexpectedly July 19 at Mid-Coast Hospital in Brunswick, surrounded by her family.
