Della F. Chase Black, 97, of Waldoboro, died Sept. 3 at her home.

Col. Howard W. Spence, 93, died Sept. 21 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta.

Myrle Naomi Sargent Sproul, 95, of Boothbay Harbor, passed away quietly in her sleep on the morning of Sept. 8 after five years of being lost in the confusing world of Alzheimer’s.

Tena Marie York, 54, of Nobleboro, died Aug. 25 at her residence after a period of failing health.

Margaret “Peggy” Elizabeth Norton, 86, of Bath, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sept. 23.

June Soule Grierson, 72, of Union, died peacefully with her mother by her side on Sept. 9 at the Knox Center for Long Term Care after a period of failing health.

Celia H. Pooler, 83, of Bristol, formerly of Glen Cove, wife of Lawrence G. Pooler, went to be with the Lord, Aug. 29 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta.

Edward W. Green, 77, of New Hope, Penn., died Sept. 21 at Kindred Hospital in Philadelphia, Penn.

Diane Marie Darling Gaudette, 54, of Jefferson, died at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta on Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2010, surrounded by her loving family.

E. Joyce Jura, 81, beloved wife of Art Jura, died at their home Aug. 29 after a long illness.
