In a recent LCN, a letter writer claimed that Anwar al-Awlaki, the American citizen living in Yemen who was killed by a predator drone missile, “was killed without due process and without any effort to capture, arrest and try him,” and “his killing was based on the mere assertion that he is a dangerous member of a terrorist organization.”
