Medomak Valley girls’ cross country team qualified for the State Class B championships for the fourth straight year. The States will be held at Troy Howard Middle School in Belfast on Sat., Oct. 30 at 11:45 a.m.

Hervochon Construction completed their perfect season on Sunday with a 2-1 win over South of the Border to win the Waldoboro Co-ed Softball League championships.

Wiscasset boys’ soccer team defeated Dirigo 2-1 on Oct. 28 to win the Mt.Valley Conference championships.

Lincoln Academy’s golf team won the KVAC Class B golf championship on Sept. 30 at the Bath Country Club. The win was especially sweet, after the Eagles blew up in their final KVAC outing against Medomak Valley to be handed their only loss of the season. “I think maybe that was a good thing from a coaching perspective,” coach Todd Brackett said of the loss to Medomak.

Fifth seeded Lincoln Academy boys’ soccer team travel to fourth seeded York on Wed., Oct. 27 for a West Class B quarterfinal match-up. Game time is 5 p.m.

Top ranked Wiscasset High School boys’ soccer team host number eight North Yarmouth Academy on Wed., Oct. 27 at 6 p.m. There will be a gate charge.

Wiscasset boys’ soccer team picked up their ninth win of the season to move to first place in West Class C. Lisbon’s defense kept the Redskins explosive offense in check for much of the game.

Medomak Valley boys’ soccer team picked up their second win of the season on Monday, beating Nokomis 4-0. The Panthers held a 21-6 advantage in shots and dominated every facet of the game.
