Medomak Valley 2006 graduate Zach Armstrong scored his 1000 career point for the University of Maine Machias basketball team on Thurs., Jan. 13 in their loss to St. Joseph of Vermont. Armstrong is a 6’2″ junior forward from Waldoboro. He scored 16 points in the game. He was also named Sunrise Conference Co-Player of the Week.

Lincoln Academy girls and Wiscasset boys won their swim meet over Winslow, at the Alfond Boys and Girls Club in Waterville Tuesday night.

Lincoln Academy and Medomak Valley indoor track and field teams competed in a KVAC meet Saturday at Bowdoin College.

Wiscasset boys’ basketball team rolled over Lisbon 63-33 on Jan. 3 on the road to pick up their sixth straight win in the Mt.Valley Conference. Twelve players scored in the win.

The MVHS Holiday Classic, scheduled for Mon., Dec. 27, has been postponed. A version of it will be held on Thursday. The schedule has not been firmed up yet. When the schedule becomes available it will be posted.
