Wiscasset dug themselves into a big hole early and were unable to dig out in their 53-43 loss to Hall-Dale Monday night in the West Class C quarterfinals at the Augusta Civic Center.
Lincoln Girls Rally Over Rockland
Lincoln Academy girls rallied from behind to beat Rockland Tuesday night in Rockland. The Eagles took a 14-13 lead at the quarter, before getting into foul trouble in the 2nd period. Lincoln was charged with 25 fouls and Rockland 26 in the sloppy game.
Panthers Nip Eagles In Overtime
Medomak Valley boys’ basketball team nipped Lincoln Academy 60-56 in overtime on Feb. 4 in the two teams’ KVAC season finale in Newcastle. With the win, the Panthers finish the season with a 14-4 record. Lincoln ends their season with an 11-7 record.
