Nobleboro 7th grade boys’ basketball team lost 40-27 to undefeated Thomaston in the Busline League championships Saturday in Lincolnville.

Lincoln Academy placed 10th in the McDonald’s tournament at Mt.Valley on Saturday out of 14 teams.

Black Belt Instructor Hal Pierce has announced the promotion of two area Martial Artists in Defensive Solution’s Tao Martial Arts program.

Medomak Valley cross-country team members Patrick O’Donnell and Gwen Moiles won the MVHS 5K Road Race. “We had a great turnout for the race, and will put the proceeds into our trail fund,” MVHS cross-country coach George Gould said.

Because of the low number of girls who came out for the joined Varsity and Junior Varsity squads this year, Medomak ended up with a Varsity team of 24 girls, coached by Owen Campbell and JV coach Jasmine McNelly.

The Wiscasset Community Center Unsinkable Crocs participated in the HSC-Haunted Hat Swim Meet on Oct. 26 at Husson University’s Webber Pool in Bangor.

The WCC Unsinkable Crocs swim team traveled to Cumberland on Nov. 16 to compete in the Seacoast Harvest Meet.
