Maine winemakers create a wide variety of wines using all manner of ingredients – grapes, blueberries, rhubarb, honey, and more! In this class, attendees will enjoy a guided tasting of 5-6 grape-based Maine white wines, comparing and contrasting not only the wines themselves but the grape varietals used. Attendees will also learn about the techniques winemakers use to influence the characteristics of the wine – like “dry,” “sweet,” “creamy,” or “fruity.”
This interactive class is held in our brand-new Learning Center and is taught by Lynda Gaines, a WSET Level 3 certified wine enthusiast. The price of your ticket includes a full pour of one of your top-rated wines from the class in the Tasting Room immediately following the class.
Due to the nature of this class, all attendees must be ages 21+.
Tickets: $35/pp, group discounts are available

The Clements Brothers are George and Charles Clements, identical twins from New England. They’ve been playing and writing music together for as long as they can remember and ‘The Clements Brothers’ marks their first project together since playing in the internationally touring grass-roots band, ‘The Lonely Heartstring Band’ with whom they put out two albums on Rounder Records. With roots, rock, bluegrass, jazz, and classical influences, George (on guitar) and Charles (on bass) aim to capture their singer-songwriter sensibilities in a unique blended voice, at once enthralling and intimate, groovy and serene. They are joined by drummer Mike Harmon, who joined the band after an impromptu late night set at the Ossipee Music festival, and adds his unique roots-conscious musicality to the group’s evolving sound. The trio is a fusion of each member’s unique musical
journey, and the result is music all its own, filled with vocal harmonies, instrumental virtuosity, and a genuine love of song.
Advance discount tickets $20, available only from the box office at 207-633-5159 (open Wed – Fri from 10-2). Regular tickets $25 online at boothbayoperahouse.com, and on the day of show if available.
