Portland, ME based nationally touring musicians. The brothers include singer/songwriter Sean who pens soulful tunes mixing playful spirits with emotional sincerity, and Jamie who uses different instruments, loops, and other sonic textures to construct something fresh and familiar. An electronic beat shakes up a quiet acoustic ballad. A hooky pop melody gets contorted by a noisy guitar. A plucked fiddle supplies an R&B groove. “Some songs will have hundreds of tracks and others just the vocals and a guitar,” Jamie reveals. “Our intention is to make music that feels good to us.” Come celebrate this extraordinary pair of Maine brothers tonight! Advance discount tickets $20, available only from the box office at 207-633-5159 (open Wed – Fri from 10-2). Regular tickets $25 online at boothbayoperahouse.com, and on the day of show if available.

Since their formal introduction to American audiences in 1997, The Kruger Brothers’ remarkable discipline, creativity and their ability to infuse classical music into folk music has resulted in a unique sound that has made them a fixture within the world of acoustic music.
The honesty of their writing has since become a hallmark of the trio’s work. Trust us, they are hard to classify, and impossible to forget once you’ve heard them. Come listen to something extraordinary tonight. Tonight is dedicated to the memory of Margaret Perritt, the Kruger Brothers biggest Maine fan. Advance discount tickets $30, available only from the box office at 207-633-5159 (open Wed – Fri from 10-2). Regular tickets $35 online at boothbayoperahouse.com, and on the day of show if available.
