Harry W. Sidelinger Sr., 72, of Newcastle, passed away at the MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta, on the afternoon of March 30, 2026 with his sister and sons by his side. Born in Gardiner on Jan. 27, 1954, he was the son of Harold and Gloria (Erving) Sidelinger.
Walter N. Johansson
Walter N. Johansson, 93, died peacefully on the evening of March 31, 2026 at his home in Pemaquid. Born in Orange, N.J., he was the son of Nils and Ellen (Karlson) Johansson. He graduated from West Orange High School and Stevens Institute of Technology with the degree of mechanical engineer. He played lacrosse and is in the Stevens Athletic Hall of Fame. He was a registered professional engineer.

They are really good for a cold day! My dad works for the South Bristol ice harvest. At the ice harvest, they show you how they used to cut ice in the olden days. You should go sometime! Barbara “Lori” Reed, 62, died March 30, 2026 at the Sussman House in Rockport where she was peacefully surrounded by family during her final days. Lori was born Sept. 30, 1963 in Boothbay Harbor to Robert Reed and Judith Rines Reed. Lori grew up in Wiscasset and graduated from Wiscasset High School.
