Applications for scholarships of up to $1,000 for Nobleboro students are offered by both the Nobleboro Historical Society and the town of Nobleboro. These competitive scholarships are available for students attending post-secondary schools such as colleges, universities, and community colleges in fall 2019. The application, including an official transcript from one’s current school, is due Tuesday, May 7.

It only took 20 years to snuff out the dream of converting Maine’s electrical power grid and home heating to clean-burning natural gas.
