Winter Fest, a free family-friendly event at DRA’s Round Top Farm in Damariscotta, has been postponed due to lack of snow and will now be held on Sunday, Feb. 17 from noon-3 p.m. The event is hosted by Damariscotta River Association, Pemaquid Watershed Association, and Great Salt Bay Community School’s PTO.

While returning home along Route 1B from my morning coffee break at the Waltz lunch bar, I have noticed all the tree cutting and clearing of land at the entrance to the Lincoln County Rifle Club. The activity started us both thinking how fast time goes by.
