We all know there’s perhaps no job more important to land than that first part-time job as a teenager, whether that job be on a farm, in a local convenience store, or at a restaurant. For me, I began working closely with my father at a very young age, helping him assemble furniture for the family business, going out on deliveries, and completing countless other tasks as needed until I became a teacher at 23.

Lincoln Academy One-Act Play Wins Regionals
Lincoln Academy is the regional one-act champion for the 11th time in 12 years, despite moving from Class B to Class A this year. On Saturday, March 10, Lincoln Academy’s one-act play “Blood Wedding” earned first place in Class A at the regional one-act festival hosted by Medomak Valley High School in Waldoboro. The play will move on to the state drama festival later this month.
