Central Maine Power Co., a subsidiary of Avangrid Inc., a diversified energy and utility company, has been monitoring weather forecasts and is prepared for a winter storm forecast to bring heavy snow and gusty winds to Maine on Wednesday, March 7 and Thursday, March 8.

Vassar Night Owls to Sing at Morris Farm

The Vassar Night Owls is one of the oldest female a cappella groups in the United States. The group was founded in 1942 during a flu epidemic at Vassar College in New York. The group specializes in jazz but sings a varied repertoire.

Caps for Critters Days to Help Animal Shelter

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office animal control division invites area schools to participate in the first annual Caps for Critters Days, with all proceeds and donations going to benefit the Lincoln County Animal Shelter.
