Jan Kilburn Gallery to Host ‘Guests on the Lawn’
The Jan Kilburn Gallery in Damariscotta will host a large group of artists painting en plein air on Saturday, Aug. 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The public is invited to the gallery’s “Guests on the Lawn” event to see many of the area’s noted artists, working in watercolor, pastel, and oil. It is a chance to peek over the shoulder of an artist, watch a painting come to life, and perhaps go home with a piece of original art that was created before one’s eyes.
