For the past 12 years, Pemaquid Watershed Association’s Sunset Cruise for a Cause with Hardy Boat Cruises has delivered spectacular sunsets. The public will again have a chance to enjoy this special fundraising cruise on Friday, Sept. 8 from 5-7 p.m., departing from and returning to Shaw’s Wharf in New Harbor.

The yellow Damariscotta-Newcastle ArtWalk flag will be displayed on the PWA sign for easy identification. Animal Shelters Acquire Mobile Surgery Unit
Coastal Humane Society in Brunswick and Lincoln County Animal Shelter in Edgecomb are the proud owners of a new state-of-the-art mobile surgery unit, made possible through a $50,000 grant from Petco Foundation, an anonymous matching gift donation, and many additional donations from shelter supporters.
