Mark E. Pilsbury, 67, of Palermo, died Jan. 15 at the Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough following a brief, yet courageous battle with leukemia.

Lydia Isabel Atwood Chase, formerly of Whitefield, went “home” peacefully on Jan. 13 while at Salem Haven Nursing Home in Salem, N.H.

Ronald Dean Colvin, 73, passed away on Jan. 15 at Maine Medical Center in Portland after a courageous three-month battle following multiple complications from surgery.

Norman E. Russell, 70, of Candia, N.H., passed away Jan. 11 after a battle with colon cancer.

Jean Elizabeth Dodge, 86, of Venice, Fla. and East Boothbay, died on Jan. 3.

Anne Carol Orne passed away peacefully Jan. 14 surrounded by her loving family after fighting cancer since February 2016.

Doris “Dolly” Irene Small passed away Jan. 13 at the Hawthorne House in Freeport.

Joanne Reid Lewis, 71, wonderful mother, exceptional wife and devoted friend, transitioned peacefully to Spirit on the evening of Jan. 10.

Sheila Frances (Halko) Scalzi, 73, of Whitefield, and former resident of Fairfield, Stratford and Naugatuck, Conn., passed away on Jan. 12 at her daughter’s home with her loving family by her side, after a yearlong courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Franklin “Nick” Nichols Folger, 70, died on Jan. 6 at the VA Hospital in East Orange, N.J.
