Availability to review and comment on the historic properties identified at the Waldoboro culvert replacement project (WIN #24243.00) and effects to the historic properties as a result of the proposed alternative

The Newcastle Select Board have scheduled a Special Town Meeting to be held on October, 15 2024, at 6:30 pm at the Lincoln Academy Gymnasium, located at 81 Academy Hill to vote on the following:

Regional School Unit No. 40 (RSU 40) seeks qualifications for snow removal of our 6 campuses and bus garage throughout RSU 40.

The South Bristol Shellfish Committee will be holding a meeting on Thursday, October 17 at 6:30 pm at the Town Office. Public is welcome.

The Town of Waldoboro, Maine Planning Board members will hold a scheduled meeting on October 10, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. to hold a pre-application review.

There will be NO Planning Board meeting held on September 10 due to no applications having been received.

There will be a Public Hearing on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Town Office to discuss the proposed Solar Farm Ordinance and amendments to the Building Ordinance to be voted on by Secret Ballot on November 5, 2024 at the Jefferson Village School.

The Newcastle Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 6:30 PM at the Clayton V. Huntley Jr. Fire Station, located at 86 River Road, Newcastle to take comment on proposed Core Zoning Code Ordinance Amendments to regulate Retail Firearm Sales Facility.
