Medomak Girls Win KVAC 3200 Relay, O’Donnell 400
Medomak Valley’s indoor track team may be short in numbers, but they are long on talent. The girls won the KVAC 4 by 800 relay in 10:48.54 at the league championship meet Friday night at Bowdoin College.

Medomak Valley girls’ basketball coach Randy Hooper was named KVAC 2008-09 Coach of the Year. Hooper has coached basketball at Medomak for four years.
State Wrestling Results
Two and a half weeks after the state wrestling tournament was held at the Augusta Civic Center on Feb. 7, area coaches are still waiting for bracket sheets and results promised to be sent to them.
Lincoln Boys Win Season Finale Over Medomak
Lincoln Academy boys’ basketball team wrapped up their KVAC season with a 49-37 win at Medomak on Feb. 5. The Eagles got off to a slow start, trailing 12-4. Ben McLain hit a 3-pointer at the first quarter buzzer to close the gap to five, 12-7 at the break.

Wiscasset boys’ basketball team defeated St. Dominic’s 47-42 on Feb. 19 to earn a berth in the Western Maine Class C championship game with Dirigo.
Eagles Crush Fryeburg, Advance To West B Quarterfinals
Lincoln Academy boys’ basketball team crushed Fryeburg Academy Tuesday night, 69-48 in a West Class B preliminary match-up. With the win, Lincoln advances to the West B tournament. They play #2 seed Falmouth at the Portland Expo on Sat., Feb. 14 at 12:30 p.m. in the West B quarterfinals.
