The deadline for persons who choose to use a paper application for the 2009 Moose Permit Lottery is fast approaching. Completed paper moose lottery applications must be postmarked by April 1 or delivered to the Dept. of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife’s (IF&W) Augusta office by 5 p.m. on April 1.
CLAW Wrestling Sees Individual Success
Central Lincoln Area Wrestling (CLAW) saw individual success in two home meets this week. CLAW lost to Mt. Ararat at the CLC YMCA on Feb. 26, then hosted a four team meet on Saturday at Lincoln Academy, falling to Mt.Valley, Camden and Bath.
Boothbay Boys, Midcoast AAU Win Medomak Midcoast Madness Tourney
Boothbay 8th grade boys defeated Medomak 8th graders by one at the buzzer, and Midcoast AAU girls topped Boothbay girls to win the first annual Medomak Midcoast Madness 7th and 8th grade basketball tournament held at Medomak Valley and Medomak Middle Schools over the weekend in the Travel teams’ grand finale for the season.

Medomak JV Girls Finish Season Perfectly
Medomak Valley JV girls’ basketball team wrapped up their 2008-09 season with a perfect 17-0 record. This is the first time in the school’s history at Medomak Valley that a JV girls’ team has gone undefeated.
