Walter Sturtevant Foster May 28, 1933 - April 13, 2023

Walter Sturtevant Foster, 89, of Friendship, died on April 13, 2023. He was born May 28, 1933, the second child of Katharine (Condon) and Frank Clifton Foster. Both Walter and his brother, Randall, were born in Waterbury, Conn., where their father’s brother was a physician.

Maxine Ruth Beane Feb. 27, 1931 - March 17, 2023

Maxine Ruth Beane, 92, died peacefully in her sleep on March 17, at her daughter’s home in Amherst, N.H. Maxine was born Feb. 27, 1931 in Waldoboro, to Albert Shuman and Hazel Heyer Shuman. She graduated from Waldoboro High School in 1949.
