Antique Auto Days, Midcoast Craft Beer Festival in Boothbay
The 53rd annual Antique Auto Days event on Saturday and Sunday, July 15 and 16 will feature dozens of classic, vintage, antique, hot rod, and muscle cars, and much more, all parked on the village green at Boothbay Railway Village in Boothbay. This is an all-makes and all-models show in partnership with the Maine Obsolete Auto League.

The first event in the church’s summer supper series, the goal of which is raising funds for the St. Philip’s Steeple Fund, is on Monday, July 17, from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Jim Messina’s consummate legacy of musical prowess spans five decades, three acclaimed rock supergroups, a vibrant solo career, and a dizzying array of game-changing producing and engineering credits, including The Doors, Lee Michaels, and Herb Alpert. He is an indisputable expert in the fine art of making hit music. On Saturday, July 22, Messina and his band will come to Boothbay Harbor to perform at the Opera House at Boothbay Harbor.

Linda Lee (Hopkins) Jackson, 71, of Keene, N.H., was taken home to our Lord and Savior on June 23 at Cheshire Medical Center, Keene, N.H. after a short battle with cancer.

Community Read Local connections to ‘The Boys in the Boat’

Lincoln Home Gets Deficiency-Free Survey from DHHS
The Lincoln Home was surveyed by the Maine Department of Health and Human Services in mid-June and was pronounced deficiency-free. Every licensed senior living community in Maine is surveyed every two years by the Maine Department of Health and Human Services and cannot operate if the required regulations are not met.

Bristol Lions Raffle Ticket Sales
The Bristol Area Lions Club will sell raffle tickets in front of Reilly’s Market in New Harbor every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. until the end of August. A drawing will take place on Labor Day at the Willing Workers Hall for a $250 gift card to L. L. Bean. Second prize will be a dozen lobsters from Shaw’s Fish & Lobster Wharf, and third prize will be a $50 gift certificate to The Anchor in Round Pond.
