David S. Hatch, 97, passed away on June 19, 2020 in Damariscotta, where he lived his whole life and was a direct descendant of the original settlers. David was the son of Fredrick Boynton Hatch and Nan Soule. David graduated from Lincoln Academy in 1941, where he earned his āLā in basketball, baseball, track, and cross-country.

Martha Childs Sproul died peacefully at her home on June 20, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born in Princeton, N.J., on Feb. 24, 1933, the daughter of Professor Harwood L. Childs and Willa (Whitson) Childs. She spent her childhood in Princeton and summers in Wilton.

Update: Former Waldoboro Man’s Fatal Injuries Inflicted With Knife, Police Say Islanders Want Answers From Police After Roger Feltis' Death
Roger Feltis died from injuries inflicted with a knife, according to an update from Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland at 2:55 p.m., Friday, June 19. The Maine State Police and the Knox County Sheriff’s Office continue to investigate the circumstances of his death.
