A Damariscotta couple was arrested Monday after two sets of parents complained their daughters were given a variety of pills, marijuana and vodka in a weekend long party.
Schooner Runs Aground
The schooner American Eagle suffered little damage following her encounter with a ledge Thursday.
The 92-foot long sailing vessel lost “a bit of paint,” but was not damaged. After a coast guard inspection, she was permitted to continue her cruise, said Senior Chief Petty Officer Chuck Chavtur.

After a statewide flood closure to harvest shellfish, due to all the rain, clam diggers will once again be out of work as red tide hits harvest areas.
