Shirley M. Hill, 85, of Wiscasset, died Jan. 6 at her residence surrounded by friends and family.

William J. Plossay, 84, of Nobleboro, passed away at the Togus Veterans Medical Center hospice unit on Dec. 26 after a brief battle with lung cancer.

Paul L. Bryant, 72, of Nobleboro, passed away on the evening of Dec. 30 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta, with beloved family members by this side.

Donald A. Hastings, 88, of Jefferson, passed away on the morning of Jan. 4 at his home. He was born May 18, 1930 in Tallman, N.Y., a son of the late Charles and Madeline (Lewis) Hastings.

Charles “Charlie” F. Herrick passed away on Jan. 2 and life will never be quite the same.

Mary D. Hallinan, 77, of Boothbay Harbor, died Jan. 4 at Safe Haven, St. Andrews Village in Boothbay Harbor.

Phyllis M. Moulton, 100, of Portland, formerly of Waldoboro, died Jan. 4 in Portland at the Cedars Nursing Care Center.

Stephen L. Genthner, 50, of Damariscotta, passed away unexpectedly on the afternoon of Dec. 31. He was born to Billie Hariff and Richard Genthner on Dec. 17, 1968 at St. Mary’s in Lewiston. He grew up and went to local schools in Lisbon.

Richard C. “RCP the Great” Potter, 63, of Somerville, passed away on Jan. 2.

Diane Marie Crudell, 51, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Dec. 28. Her passing came shortly after a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

Nicholas (“Nick”) Daniel Panarese, 27, of Wiscasset, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Jan. 1.
