Frank Stevenson Burton, 86, of Damariscotta, passed away peacefully after a long illness on Wednesday morning, Oct. 9. His beloved wife Nancy was at his side.

Clayton Grover, 87, of Newcastle, passed away on the afternoon of Oct. 4, 2019 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. Born on Sept. 22, 1932 in Wiscasset, he was the son of Ernest and Dorothy Grover.

Robert N. Reed, 87, of Edgecomb, passed away peacefully on the evening of Sept. 28 at the Togus VA Medical Center in Augusta. Bob was the son of Kenneth Parker and Veula H. Reed of Edgecomb.

After a full life of joy, beauty, and struggle, Susanne Elisabeth Kemp Misner passed away on Sept. 1, 2019, at her home and surrounded by family.

Mary Ann Tootell, 90, passed away peacefully on the afternoon of Sept. 21, 2019 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta with her daughters by her side. Mary (aka Marion) was the daughter of Arthur and Alice (Letourneau) Charbonneau, and was born on May 10, 1929.

Elke S. Brunetti, 54, passed away Sept. 13, 2019 at the Maine Veterans Home in Augusta with family and close friends around her. She was born in Germany on April 7, 1965, a daughter of the late Egon and Maria Farnbauer Schmidt.

Robert (Bob) Dean Thomas, 86, of New Canaan, Conn. and Jefferson, passed quietly at dawn on Sept. 20 in Damariscotta, surrounded by his wife and children.

Vernon Stewart “Vern” Phillips, 77, passed away at his residence at Hodgdon Green in Damariscotta, on the morning of Sept. 23, 2019. Born on Dec. 8, 1941 (one day after the attack on Pearl Harbor) in Waltham, Mass., he was the beloved only child of George “Stewart” and Mildred Phillips.
