Phyllis Baldwin, formerly of Bremen and Damariscotta, died in Vermont on Jan. 19, 2020, in the presence of her daughter, after a long illness precipitated by a series of strokes.

William “Bill” Alton Ames Sr., 77, of Jefferson, passed away on the evening of Jan. 6, 2020, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Damariscotta on Sept. 23, 1942, the son of Samuel H. and Dorothy (Smith) Ames.

Lila C. SanAngelo, 92, of Bremen, passed away on the morning of Jan. 19, 2020 at the Knox Center in Rockland.

Britain Richards, 71, laughed her last laugh on Jan. 2, 2020. Her life was a unique blend of joy and sorrow, but she always made the effort to bring joy to those she loved. 

Edwin Dexter, age 95, passed away peacefully on the evening of Jan. 19, 2020 at his home in Waldoboro.

Janice C. Bedell, 84, of Bremen, passed away peacefully on Jan. 14, 2020, at St. Andrews Village in Boothbay Harbor. Janice was the devoted wife of the late Richard B. Bedell, with whom she shared 43 years of marriage until his passing in December of 2016.

Hellen Brawn Dancer, 92, died at her home on Jan. 18, 2020, with her daughter, Lois and son-in-law, Steve at her side.

Christopher Michael Duffy, 73, moved peacefully on to the next stage of his life at his home in Waldoboro, on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020. He was born on March 7, 1946 in New Britain, Conn., the son of the late William J. Duffy and the late Jayne Scott Krane.

Virginia Ann (nee Day) Hanson, age 91 years, of Cornwall, Ontario, Canada, passed away Jan. 17, 2020.

Elaine (Goodson) Williamson passed away peacefully on Jan. 14, 2020.

Arthur Charles Coulter, age 94, passed away peacefully on the morning of Jan. 14, 2020 at Willow Manor in South Portland.

Viola Noyes Rawley, 84, passed away peacefully on Jan. 13, 2020 at the Woodlands Center of Rockland. She was born on May 21, 1935 in North Waldoboro to Charles and Jennie Noyes.
