Artist Robert (Bob) Thomas, 73, of Edgecomb, died April 9 at his home after a long illness.

Tenants Harbor, Maine — Constance (Connie) Chandler-Ward died Monday April 2, 2018, at age 82, after an automobile accident in Warren, Maine.

A life well lived.  Burt Etheridge embodies the adage “Do what you love, love what you do.”  He was fortunate to have enjoyed two fulfilling careers. First as a decorated Master Aviator for the U.S. Army, retiring after 24 years as a Chief Warrant Officer-4 (CW-4) helicopter pilot and instructor who served our country in Korea and Somalia.

Kenneth Batchelor, 86, of Nobleboro, passed away at his home with his loving family surrounding him on April 7.

Herbert S. Sperry, 91, of Newcastle, died April 8 surrounded by his family.

Clarence Stewart “Stu” Benner, 73, of Benton, passed away April 8 at his residence.

James Wesley Jackson, 56, of Waldoboro, passed away on April 4 at his home with his family by his side. Jim was born on Aug. 14, 1961 to Merrill A. Jackson and Dorothy H. (Reay) Jackson in Rockland.

Frank W. Wiley, 77, of Boothbay, passed away on April 5 at his home.

Ruth Eleanor Sykes Leeman, of Round Pond, passed away in the early morning hours of April 5, with her loving children by her side. She was just shy of her 94th birthday.

Ian Heppel, 69, of Bristol, died April 7 at his residence.

Robert Wilson, 71, of Whitefield, died at his home surrounded by his family on April 5. He was born in Jefferson on Oct. 6, 1946.

Eduard Arthur Ziegenhagen died April 2. He was born in Milwaukee, Wis., on July 4, 1935, to Dorothea Lisow Ziegenhagen and Arthur Eduard Ziegenhagen and grew up in Michigan and Wisconsin.
