Frances “Fran” Elaine Field, 73, of Warren, went home to be with her Lord April 16 at the Sussman House in Rockport. She was born April 29, 1944 in Brockton, Mass. to George and Helen McPhee.

Nancy Elaine Benner, 71, of Waldoboro, passed away on April 14 at her home. She was born on May 15, 1946 in Rockland to William Merrill Sr. and Doris (Lacombe) Merrill.

Gavin Knowlton Wallace, 12, of Waldoboro, passed away peacefully April 14 at his home surrounded by his family and those who loved him.

Dr. L. Edwin Sproul Jr., internist in Mystic and New London, Conn., died on April 15. He was born in Saugus, Mass. on April 16, 1932.

Carolyn Hutchinson Barclay Smith, 95, of Boothbay Harbor, passed away on April 13. Carolyn was born on July 7, 1922 to Ruth Hutchinson Applegate and Carroll Wilson Barclay in Freehold, N.J.

Barbara Yates Perkins, 85, of Dresden and Bowdoinham, passed away on April 9 at Central Maine Medical Center, Lewiston from complications of surgery.

Rosalie Delphine Hasenfus, 80, passed away at Mid Coast Hospital on April 11, peacefully, surrounded by her family.

A few weeks shy of her 101st birthday, Marguerite S. Hills died peacefully on April 11 at her home in Waldoboro. Her cat, Sarah and her son, Larry were with her at the time of her death.

Nancy L. Pranes, 72, of Waldoboro, passed away on April 10 at her home. She was born on Nov. 21, 1945 in Skowhegan to Leroy Meservey and Caroline (Brown) Meservey.

James Bernard Aderman, 82, known to friends as “Jim,” longtime resident of Damariscotta, passed away April 9.
