Rhonda Lee Chapman, 57, of Waldoboro, passed away after a long illness at LincolnHealth on March 19.

Melodie Lee Barnett-Knisley, 37, of Nobleboro, passed away March 27 at her home. Melodie was born March 5, 1981 in Dayton, Ohio.

Christine C. Hyson, 87, long-time resident of Damariscotta Mills, passed away on the afternoon of April 1 at Cove’s Edge Nursing Home in Damariscotta. Born on May 25, 1930 in Howland, she was one of 15 children to Rufus and Dora Bunker.

Paul Doherty, 97, of Union, passed away on April 2 at Winship Green in Bath. Paul was born on April 19, 1920 to Patrick Doherty and Rose (McNulty) Doherty in Revere, Mass.

Richard “Dick” N. Keene, 90, of Bremen, passed away at his home with his loving family by his side on the morning of March 29. Born on Nov. 28, 1927 in the same house he passed in, he was the son of Fred and Eleanor (Gross) Keene.

John “Jack” G. Gingrow Jr., 59, of West Bath, also known as “Bird Man of Wiscasset” died suddenly on March 28.

Father Bruce Ames Alexander, of Dresden, passed away March 27. He was born Aug. 6, 1930 in Rockland to Leonard Ezekiel Frank Alexander and Nettie Mae Call Alexander.

Earle P. Moore Jr., of Edgecomb, formerly of Warren, passed away at his winter home in Florida Feb. 8, with his wife, Monica, by his side. He was born Sept. 26, 1928.

Andrew W. Williamson III, 85, of Jefferson, passed away peacefully March 26 at the Maine Veterans’ Home in Augusta surrounded by his loving family.

Lauren Wayne Ruybal, 70, of Waldoboro, passed away peacefully March 24 at Togus Springs in Augusta with his family present. He was born in Monte Vista, Colo. on June 6, 1947, son of Juan and Lupita Ruybal.

Melissa S. Sawyer, 48, of Damariscotta, suddenly and tragically left this earth as a result of an automobile accident on March 25. Melissa’s love and joy were her immediate and extended family.

Sharon Marie (Bickford) Chickering, 70, of Round Pond, passed away on March 26 at Maine Medical Center in Portland with family by her side. Sharon was the only child born to the late Roy Bickford and Marie (Duplisey) Bickford, on Aug. 6, 1947 in Damariscotta.
