Millie Baxley, a wonderful, beautiful woman passed away on the afternoon of Dec. 29, 2016 at her home in Anson.

Mary E. (Marson) Abbott, 93, of Wiscasset, died on Dec. 28 at LincolnHealth – Miles Campus. She was the wife of the late Willard A. Abbott.

Carol Haase Cook, 90, a city girl who embraced country life; an avid sailor; an incomparable seamstress and cook; a lifelong advocate for religious tolerance, Civil Rights, and women’s rights; and a devoted wife and mother died on Dec. 29.

Theodore Van “Tod” Brown, 75, of Warren, died Dec. 16 at the Sussman House in Rockport with his wife and daughters at his side.

John J. Wordock Jr., 74, of Round Pond, passed away peacefully on Dec. 8 in Damariscotta with his family by his side.

Donald “Don” Meakin, 71, of Round Pond, passed away on Dec. 19 at Sedgewood Commons in Falmouth.

Gordon B. Humphrey Jr., 60, of South Bristol, passed away peacefully at the LincolnHealth – Miles Campus on the afternoon of Dec. 23 after a long battle with liver cancer.

Valentino A. Balducci, 86, of Edgecomb, died Dec. 21 at his residence.

Mona Ridley, 87, of Nobleboro, passed away on Dec. 20 at Cove’s Edge following many years of declining health.

David A. Sidelinger, 84, of Waldoboro and Inverness, Fla., passed away peacefully after a long illness on Dec. 8 at the Sussman House in Rockport, with his family by his side.

Richard Bryant Bedell, 89, of Bremen, passed away on Dec. 8 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland. Born in Wilmington, Mass. on Aug. 30, 1927, he was the son of the late LeRoy and Vilma Bedell.
