The South Bristol Shellfish Committee will be having a meeting at the Town Office on May 29th at 6:30pm
The public is welcome to attend.

The Shellfish Committee with be having a Commercial Shellfish lottery on June 3rd for 1 license. The license will be good for the 2025 year only. Must be present to submit application and be able to pay $200 if selected.

The Shellfish Committee of South Bristol will completing conservation work on May 30th at 6 am AND May 31st at 7am. Please meet at the Town Office.

The Department of Marine Resources has granted Shellfish Licenses for 2025 to the Towns of Damariscotta and Newcastle as follows:

Unit #55 is rented to Adrienne Irons, last known address Woolwich. The contents include many different household items. The items will be auctioned off in lieu of non-payment for services on May 10, 2025 at 5 p.m.

The Town of Jefferson is now accepting bids for a 1 inch 9.5 overlay on the Egypt Road in Jefferson. The overlay will be from the Alna town line to Route 215, approximately 2 miles. The bid must include all aprons.

South Bristol Planning Board meets the first Tuesday of each month, 7 P.M., at the Town Hall on Clarks Cove Road, Walpole. The public is welcome to attend meetings. Applications for Permits are to be filled out and presented at the Town Hall the Thursday before each regular meeting.
