Medomak Valley split a pair of games this week, falling to Erskine Academy 5-1 on Tuesday, and crushing Belfast in the Lions’ den 7-1 on Oct. 9.

The KVAC championship games have been moved to Friday, October 24 at Morse High School’s turf field in Bath. The Lincoln Academy girls (8-3-3) will take on undefeated Waterville (have not given up a goal all year) at 5:30 p.m. The boys game will follow at 7:30 p.m.

Wiscasset boys soccer team picked up their second win of the season Tuesday on their home field, with a 2-0 shutout over Winthrop. The Wolverines are 2-10 headed into their final week of the season.

For the second week in a row, the Boothbay Region boys cross-country team has brought home a first-place award for their school’s trophy case. The Seahawks captured the MVC title last week and this week brought home the coveted West Class C championship plaque.
