A three-day celebration of Waldoboro’s 250th anniversary will kick off in two weeks, marking a year of planning efforts to celebrate the previous centuries and those to come. A mother and three young children are safe and uninjured after a fully involved house fire destroyed their home in Jefferson on the afternoon of Tuesday, May 23. Two additional school-age children were not home at the time of the fire.
