Four Brothers, Two Bands on One Night at Opera House
The Brother Brothers carry the folk tradition for a new generation. Identical twins David Moss and Adam Moss honor contemporary aches with the nostalgic tenderness of another time. The Kefauver Studio & Gallery in Damariscotta announces the opening of the “Still Life/Wildlife” art show. The show features new work by oil painter Will Kefauver and the work of his 29 juried guest artists. The show opens Friday, June 7 and runs until June 30.
Climate Driving New Right Whale Movement
New research connects recent changes in the movement of North Atlantic right whales to decreased food availability and rising temperatures in the Gulf of Maine’s deep waters. Right whales have been showing up in unexpected places in recent years, putting the endangered species at increased risk. The study, which was published in Oceanography, and conducted by scientists from more than 10 institutions, provides insights to this key issue complicating conservation efforts.
