Chickadee Flea Shop to Open in Damariscotta

The Chickadee Flea, a shop for new and used furniture and home goods with the motto “everything to feather your nest,” will open in the Elm Street Plaza, in downtown Damariscotta, this spring.

An American Champion in Dresden

There’s an American champion living in Dresden. He’s a boxer named Prince, co-owned by Debbie Gagnon and Donna Schafer. With Gagnon, also his trainer and handler, he earned the title of American champion with his performance at a series of competitions, most recently the Greater Harrington Dog Show in Springfield, Mass. on Feb. 2.

St. Giles’ to Host Free Supper March 2

St. Giles’ Episcopal Church in Jefferson will host the third of its free suppers this winter Saturday, March 2 starting at 5 p.m.
