Anthony “Tony” Garey Alvarez Correa, 83, of South Bristol, died at his home on the Damariscotta River after a short battle with pancreatic cancer on Jan. 10, 2025 with his loving partner, Patrice, and his son, Andy, close at hand.

Richard Ellsworth Soule, 92, of Bath, formerly of Phippsburg, passed away on Friday, Jan. 10.

Barbara Dudley-Thompson, known as “Bobsy,” passed away on Christmas Day in her home in Edgecomb following a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Valmar; and three children, Kit, Bruce, and Jean; grandchildren, Lily and Alice; and brother, Glenn.

He bounced when he walked, and his smile came standard. During his short life, he had the good fortune to be chosen by a loving family to raise him in his youth, and he found home in a chosen family as a young adult. To know Brandon was to know joy and kindness. He was a brother, son, blessing, friend, and a truly rare human.

Judi Spears Toman Martin, 71, of Jefferson, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Jan. 11, 2025.

The Greenberg family mourns the passing of Robert Greenberg. Born in Chicago on May 15, 1932, Bob’s education started at Chicago schools, Todd School for Boys in Woodstock, Ill., and in Massachusetts, where he graduated from Newton High School in the class of 1950.

Gilbert Bradford “Brad” Peakes, of Bucksport and Zephyrhills, Fla., passed away in his home in Maine on Dec. 27, 2024 after a long battle with lung disease.

Anthony Jackovich, of Round Pond, 101 years old, died Dec. 7, 2024 in Chiang Mai, Thailand. He was born Dec. 6, 1923.

Sandra Dinsmore, 77, of Newcastle, passed away on the afternoon of Thursday, Jan. 2 at Pen Bay Hospital in Rockport. Sandra was born on Dec. 16, 1947 in Newcastle as the youngest of seven children. Sandra attended Lincoln Academy, where she played on the girls basketball team.

Carol Hall Perry, 77, a beloved member of the Waldoboro community, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Jan. 9, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 3, 1947, in Skowhegan, Carol was the daughter of Richard A. Hall and Cynthia (Bailey) Hall. Growing up in Waldoboro, she graduated from Waldoboro High School in 1965, where her passion for service and community were evident from a young age. Carol met Bill Wade at a young age; they married and had three beautiful children, Lisa, Nate, and Sue.
