The Newcastle Select Board has scheduled a Special Town Meeting to be held on December 10, 2024, at 6:30 pm at the Great Salt Bay School, located at 559 Main St, Damariscotta.

The Town of Westport Island is accepting proposals for a complete revaluation of all taxable and tax exempt real and personal property within the Town of Westport Island, effective no later than April 1, 2027, with a tax commitment date of mid-August 2027.

Brief Job Description: This project involves a roofing project for the Boothbay Region High School located in Boothbay Harbor. Work includes but is not limited to repairs at the following locations: drains, EPDM membrane flashing repairs, perimeter metal, metal flashings, curbs, masonry to metal joints, etc. This project also includes replacement of wet insulation in-kind and installation of a fluid applied roof coating over the existing roof membrane.

The land trust accreditation program recognizes land conservation organizations that meet national quality standards for protecting important natural places and working lands forever. First accredited in 2014, Coastal Rivers is now applying for its 5-year renewal of accreditation. A public comment period is now open.
