The Town of Newcastle will be holding a public hearing on March 10, 2025, at 7:00 pm at the Fire Station Community Room at 86 River Road in Newcastle to take comments on proposed amendments to the Recall of Elected Municipal Officials Ordinance.
This hearing will also be live streamed on the Town’s YouTube Channel. The proposed changes are available on the Town website at NewcastleMaine.us and in-person at the Town Office.

SOUTH BRISTOL PLANNING BOARD meets the first Tuesday of each month, 7 P.M., at the Town Hall on Clarks Cove Road, Walpole. The public is welcome to attend meetings. Applications for Permits are to be filled out and presented at the Town Hall the Thursday before each regular meeting.

The South Bristol Planning Board will meet on Tuesday March 4, 2025. This will be an in-person meeting.

You are hereby notified that the Select Board of the Town of Wiscasset Maine (the “Town”) will hold a hearing on March 18, 2025 at 6PM at the Wiscasset Town Hall located at 51 Bath Road, Wiscasset, ME 04578, to determine whether the residential structure owned by Douglas Henderson on land at 16 Lee Street, further identified on Town Tax Map U01, Lot 150, is dangerous or a nuisance within the meaning of 17 M.R.S.A. § 2851. The Wiscasset Select Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 6 p.m. at the Town Office Meeting Room, 51 Bath Road, to seek public input on a request to support naming the Route 1 railroad crossing in memory of James Weldon Johnson.

The RSU 48 Great Salt Bay District requests proposals to provide secondary student transportation services for a five year period beginning July 1, 2025 and ending June 30, 2030. The RSU provides transportation to Lincoln Academy for the towns of Bremen, Damariscotta, and Newcastle, Maine.
