Medomak Girls East Class B Runners-Up
Fourth seed Nokomis defeated third seed Medomak Valley girls’ basketball team 50-41 to win the East Class B championships Feb. 26 at the Bangor Auditorium. The Warriors led by 15 late in the third quarter, before the Lady Panthers rallied to pull within two in the final period.
Creamer Performs Solo in Brunswick Skate Show
Shania Creamer, a 15-year-old sophomore at Lincoln Academy, performed in several figure skating numbers, including a solo at the Skating Club of Brunswick’s “That’s Entertainment” figure skating extravaganza March 20.
Dodgeball Tournament Successful Fundraiser For Coastal Hoops
The Coastal Hoops Basketball Program held a Dodgeball Tournament as a fundraiser at Bristol School on Sat., Feb. 26. There were three age division brackets, including the Youth Division (grades 5-8), High School (Grades 9 -12) and Adult (over 18 and out of high school). Fifteen teams participated in the tournament.

Lady Panthers Advance to Eastern Maine Title Game
Number three seed Medomak Valley girls’ basketball team upset number two ranked John Bapst on Feb. 24 to advance to the Eastern Maine Class B championship game against Nokomis. John Bapst stayed with the Panthers in first half action, before Medomak cranked up their defensive game in the second half to outscore John Bapst 29-15 and win 54-36.
Medomak 7th Boys, Midcoast Girls Win Medomak Midcoast Madness Tourney
Medomak 7th grade travel boys and Midcoast 7th Warrior girls won the Medomak Midcoast Madness basketball tournament held March 18-19.
