At age 87, he’s lived a long life that also includes military service in the Army and raising two sons and two daughters with his wife, Carol, who never gossiped and was kind to everyone.
Twin Villages Foodbank Farm 5K Trail Run, Mile Walk/Fun Run Nov. 23
The sixth annual Foodbank Farm 5K trail run and mile walk/fun run will be held at Coastal Rivers Conservation Trust’s Salt Bay Farm on Belvedere Road in Damariscotta at 9 a.m., Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23. This informal, volunteer-organized event is a benefit for Twin Villages Foodbank Farm.

Lorraine Perry Jones, 87, of Cushing, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home on Oct. 6, 2023, with her loving family by her side. Lorraine was born in Warren, on Feb. 24, 1936, to Benjamin and Bertha (Moody) Perry.
Ann Bishop April 23, 1947 - Oct. 14, 2023
Ann Wheeler Bishop, of Jefferson, passed away peacefully in the embrace of family on Saturday, Oct. 14 after a several-year bout with acute myeloid leukemia. Ann was born April 23, 1947 to Morton and Lydia Rogers Wheeler in Newburyport, Mass. She grew up in neighboring Salisbury on idyllic Sweet Apple Tree Lane overlooking the mouth of the Merrimack River.
