Steven Clayton Cooper, 67, died on Dec. 20, 2025 at home in Somerville. He was preceded in death by his father, Clayton Esten Cooper; his younger brother and closest companion, Wayne “Red” Cooper; and his firstborn, Lance Mollison.

Julie Ramsey, 82, of Woolwich, passed Nov. 30, 2025. She loved Maine and moved here 16 years ago from Dayton, Ohio to live with her sister. There will be a remembrance service at Bath United Methodist Church, at 340 Oak Grove Ave., on Jan. 10, 2026 at 10 a.m.

Arthur Lerman, 76, transitioned from Earth peacefully on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, having lived a life of adventure and service dedicated to helping others and making a difference in the world. He considered himself an ordinary person committed to achieving extraordinary things. He chose to end his full and rewarding life as he had lived it, on his own terms.
Tregonnan Margaret née Morrison Lorence
Tregonnan Margaret née Morrison was born in 1935 in Sydney, Australia. “Tregonnan” is a Cornish surname, a variant of Tregoning and meaning “homestead on a hill.” Hugh Tregoning (1759-1812) was a direct ancestor.

Penelope Jeann Moran, 68, died Dec. 23, 2025 at MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital in Damariscotta with her daughter, Michelle, holding her hand as she passed. Penelope was born June 24, 1957 in Taunton, Mass. to LaRoy Ernest Stearns and Barbara May Townsend Stearns. Penelope grew up in Norton, Mass. and attended Norton High School. She met Richard Moran while he was stationed in Boston and got married. She lived in many places over the years including Sturgeon Bay, Wisc., Saco, Ketchikan, Alaska, Waldoboro, and lastly Nobleboro.
