Nature Notes Climate change and rising waters
Rising waters are usually followed by an eroding sand beach. This is the case at the eastern Maryland and Virginia coasts. More specifically, Wallops Island and the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge in Virginia, and the Assateague Island National Seashore, off the coast of Maryland, are the present cases with sand beaches.

Oxbow Offers Rare Bottle Pours at Newcastle Tasting Room
Oxbow Brewing Company, the farmhouse brewery located in Newcastle, will kick off the holiday season by offering special bottle pours at its Newcastle tasting room on Saturday, Nov. 26. Customers will be able to sample rare bottles no longer available for sale such as Momoko, Goods from the Woods, Funkhaus, and vintage Crossfade.
