Maxine Ruth Beane, 92, died peacefully in her sleep on March 17, at her daughter’s home in Amherst, N.H. Maxine was born Feb. 27, 1931 in Waldoboro, to Albert Shuman and Hazel Heyer Shuman. She graduated from Waldoboro High School in 1949.

Our dearest bandana-loving, sunglass-sporting Cameron George Jones passed away on April 12, 2023, from complications of Guillain-Barre syndrome. He had no intention of leaving this earth so soon. He had much yet to accomplish and we will forever honor him for the gentle, loving soul he was.

Katharine Kimball (Grant) Martin-Savage, 80, of Wiscasset, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2023. She was born on July 6, 1942 in Boston, Mass. Katharine was raised in Lynnfield Center, Mass. and graduated from Katherine Gibbs Secretarial College in Boston.

Maureen (Burt) McNiff passed away at Cove’s Edge nursing home in Damariscotta, on April 16, 2023. Maureen was born on Dec. 21, 1934 in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. She grew up in Newcastle.

Marcia Irene Ross, 60, of Waldoboro died Friday, April 7, 2023. Marcia was born on Aug. 16, 1962 in Brunswick, the daughter of Frederick L. Ross and Bertha E. (Lewis) Ross.

Sanni K. Sundelin left this world at age 34 on Good Friday, April 7, at Tobey Hospital in Wareham, Mass., after a brief illness. She was born on July 12, 1988 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, where she remained in the neonatal ICU for a month. When she was finally able to come home to West Barnstable, Mass., it was with nursing help. Sanni had many medical issues, and survived several serious operations over the years.

Susannah Alden French, 86, of Damariscotta and Rumford, passed away on Palm Sunday, April 2, 2023, at Bolster Heights in Auburn.

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dear friend to many, Mary Ann Cottrell, passed away in Dover, N.H., on April 7, 2023.

Kenneth Joseph Coleman, 82, of Bristol, passed away at home early on April 10 after a brief illness.
