William “Sonny” Staples Jr., 79, of Damariscotta, passed away peacefully on Feb. 8, 2021 at Cove’s Edge after a brief illness.

Shirley Bailey (Gregory), 61, of Jefferson, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta.

Ruth “Candy” Congdon, 78, died suddenly at her home in Round Pond on Feb. 11, 2021. Candy was born in Winchester, Mass. and raised in Medford, Mass. by her mother, Madeline Beattie Farmer, who herself retired to Round Pond. Candy was predeceased by her brother, Dr. Capen “Sandy” Farmer, of Farmington.

Richard “Dick” E. Durost, 91, of Augusta, died on Feb. 15, 2021 at Togus VA Hospital.

Dianne “Diana” Marie (Smith) McCullough, of Bath, died Sunday, Feb. 14, 2021 at Sussman House, Rockport.

On Feb. 13, 2021 Patricia Ann Dibert, of Waldoboro, passed on peacefully while surrounded by family near and far. While she may have left us physically, she remains on in spirit and in soul.

Natalie Mae Hodgdon, 85, of Birch Point Road, Wiscasset, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021 at her residence.

Karen Louise Starr, “Starr,” passed away peacefully in her sleep on Jan. 8, 2021. She had been at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta for a short time due to her declining health.

Jolieanne Elizabeth Shaw, 49, of Bremen, passed away peacefully on the morning of Sunday, Feb. 14, 2021 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland. She leaves behind her husband, John Shaw; daughter, Maddie Shaw; son, Jake Shaw; and the family’s adopted Underhound Railroad rescue dog, Mason Shaw.

Paul G. Johnson, 60, died unexpectedly on Feb. 8, 2021 at his home in Waldoboro. He was born Sept. 8, 1960 in Rockland to Jesse Johnson and Winona Miller Johnson. Paul grew up in Waldoboro and graduated from Medomak Valley High School in the class of 1978.

Jeffrey Alan Mank, 40, of Jefferson, died unexpectedly on Feb. 10, 2021. Jeff was born Nov. 26, 1980 in Rockport to Michael Paul Mank and Doreen Carter Mank. Jeff grew up in Waldoboro and graduated from Medomak Valley High School in the Class of 1999.
