Lucy Arlene (Hagar) Russell, 88, of Largo, Fla. and formerly of Alna, passed away at her home, surrounded by family, on March 19, 2021.

Margaret W. Pulliam, 92, of Damariscotta and Islesboro, died on March 14, 2021 at her home in Damariscotta surrounded by family.

James Bruce Amstutz was born in 1928 in the last days of the British Empire, in Singapore, then part of the Straits Settlements Crown Colony.

Leo E. Harrigan, 89, passed away March 15, 2021 in Burlington, Vt. after a period of declining health. He was born in Bangor, the son of Clement A. and Pauline M. (McCann) Harrigan.

Joel Stoddart Barber, 79, of Palm Harbor, Fla., died on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 following surgery due to treatment complications at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Fla.

Lawrence E. (Larry) Townley, 87, of Damariscotta, devoted husband of Barbara B. Townley (deceased, 2019), brother of Mary L. Townley (deceased, 2009) and father of Lawrence R. Townley of Ashland, Mass. and Mary L. Townley of North Chesterfield, Va., passed away peacefully on March 7, 2021 at LincolnHealth – Miles Campus after valiantly fighting a long illness.

Vernon “Vern” Willis Bosworth, age 81, of Somerset, Ky., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center.

On March 14, 2021, Suzanne Treidler passed away at home with her husband and mini labradoodle (never quite forgiven for not being a golden retriever) at her side.

Winona B. Johnson, 86, passed away peacefully with her loving daughter by her side on March 10, 2021 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta. Winona was born April 10, 1934 in Waldoboro to Roland G. Miller and Evelyn M. (Smith) Miller. Winona grew up on Clary Hill in Union and attended local schools.
