Daniel “Danny” Wayne Beal, also known as The Music Man, of Boothbay Harbor, passed away unexpectedly in Kansas City, Mo. on Jan. 25.

Larry K. Olsen, 83, of Jefferson, died on Jan. 20 in the LincolnHealth – Miles Campus. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth E. (Feyler) Olsen.

Benjamin (Ben) D. Etheridge Sr., 74, of Arcadia, Fla., formerly of Pemaquid, passed away Jan. 27.

Rodney Alan Lowery, 66, died instantly, peacefully and far too soon on Jan. 26 on Squirrel Island, with his caring friends attending him, and having just smiled at them in his friendly and genuine way.

Jane Marie (Sandstrom) Hancock, wife of the late D. Edward (Hank) Hancock Jr. died on Jan. 22 at LincolnHealth – Miles Campus in Damariscotta.

Joshua Jade Weston, 34, of Waldoboro, passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 21 at his residence.

Louise Ellen Johnson Furman passed away peacefully Friday night Jan. 20 at the loving home of her daughter Nancy Ellen Furman Spencer after struggling for over two years with heart, back, and respiratory issues.

Martin James Koughan, 75, of Wiscasset, died Jan. 18 at his residence.

Carol Patricia Kirchdorfer, 80, of Needham, Mass. and Jefferson, passed away peacefully on Jan. 12 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Mass. with her sons by her side.
