With profound sadness the family of Peter R. Hannah shares his passing at age 89 at Islebrook Village in Wiscasset after a long illness at his home in New Harbor. He was born in Montreal, Canada, the son of Gerald H.P. Hannah and Edith (Webb) Hannah. From 1938-1950, the family lived in Morin Heights in the Laurentian Mountains and then moved to the states with residences in Florida and Vermont. During this time Peter learned carpentry and woodcarving skills from his father and played high school football in Bradenton, Fla. and Poultney, Vt.

Karen Jaynes Tiger, 82, of Dacula, Ga., passed away peacefully on the morning of March 18, 2026 at home with her loving husband of 60 years, Richard Tiger, by her side. She was born on June 3, 1943 in Flushing, N.Y., the daughter of Doris Applegate Jaynes and George A. Jaynes, formerly of Larchmont, N.Y. and Edgecomb.

Marie Genthner, 90, of Damariscotta, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on the morning of April 17, 2026. Born on May 3, 1935 to Bertha and James P. Barker, of Somerville, Mass., Marie was one of four children. She was lucky to have three brothers: Jim, Russell, and Jerry. Marie attended St. Anne’s Catholic School and graduated from Somerville High School in 1953.

Frank Lawrence Hollis, 92, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at the Sussman House in Rockport.

Richard Alan Cleveland, aged 86, died peacefully at home in Newcastle within a circle of loving family, after suffering a stroke on March 31. Dick was an active volunteer in the community and an avid pickleball player right up until his illness.

Darren James Cox, 57, passed away peacefully surrounded by family after a long illness at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough on April 15, 2026. He was born on May 28, 1968 in Rockland and resided in Warren and Westbrook.

Lucinda “Cindy” H. Hutchins, 84, of Waldoboro, died Saturday evening, April 18, 2026 at the Sussman House in Rockport.

Dorothy Ann Seiders Stantial Smith went to be with the lord on Feb. 6, 2026 after two years with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born Aug. 7, 1942 to Louise and Clayton Seiders. She grew up in South Bristol and graduated from South Bristol High School.
